A former long-time Wendy’s restaurant in the 1400 block of Ouellette Avenue, which was shuttered a year ago, is being converted into a new Tim Horton’s location, the company has revealed.

The popular coffee shop chain has announced it will stage a job fair for its new restaurant, plus other locations across the city, on Tuesday, May 31 between 10 a.m. and 5 p.m.

Managers, supervisors and employees for all shifts are being sought during the hiring event being held at the Employment Service Centre located at 1368 Ouellette Ave., suite 102.

The scheduled date for opening new Tim Horton’s location on Ouellette near the intersection of Ellis Street is Sept. 16 provided there are no unexpected delays.
