The often-speculated story of the discount store coming to North Perth was confirmed to the Banner on Friday, Aug. 26. Dollarama head office sends all their media requests through a firm based out of Montreal called NATIONAL Public Relations.

NPR consultant Lyla Radmanovich explained that a store is indeed in the works but no other details as far as location or projected opening date are available yet.

"Yes, that's the plan, just no info yet on opening date and no other specific info about that store is currently available," Radmanovich summarized.
